Continuing Education


For mental health professionals in the Los Angeles community, Vista’s Reiss-Davis Child Study Center and Institute offers continuing education presentations through half-day and all-day conferences.

Our Saturdays at the Center Program is a series of continuing education presentations for mental health professionals that stimulates thought and suggests different methods and techniques to augment working with children, adolescents, and their parents. The three-hour morning seminars offer an opportunity to learn and discuss recent psychodynamic thinking, adjunctive psychotherapeutic and other services.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Cancellations received at least ten working days before the workshop are refundable less a $20 administrative fee per registrant. No refunds will be made thereafter. Please note that if you register and do not attend, you are still liable for full payment. A colleague may be substituted for no extra charge as long as written notification is received by us at least two business days before the conference. The expense of continuing education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills, may be tax deductible.

CE Credits for Psychologists, LCSWs, and LMFTs:

Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services is an approved provider (VIS-002) by the California Psychological Association to provide continuing professional education for psychologists. Vista del Mar Child and Family Services maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Post-licensure instructional level of activity: Intermediate/Advanced

Important notice to psychologists, LCSWs and LMFTs:

Due to the new CE regulations out of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, all psychologists, LCSWs and LMFTs who attend a scheduled event in full and complete the appropriate evaluation form will receive CE credits. Please note that credit will only be granted to those who attend the entire workshop. Those arriving more than 15 minutes after the start time or leaving before the workshop is completed will not receive CE credit.
