Beit Chesed

A Jewish Community of Sacred Belonging

In the tradition of Vista Del Mar’s Jewish core values, Vista House of Lovingkindness – Beit Chesed is a sacred, inclusive community of belonging that supports, uplifts, and celebrates Jewish individuals with autism and other special needs and their family members, throughout their lifespans, providing a stable Jewish spiritual home.

We welcome individuals and families from all walks of Jewish life to join in our community – the LGBTQ+ community, the Disability community, Jews of Color, Jewish beginners and seekers, the neuro-divergent, the neurotypical, the lonely, the alienated, the curious and the open-hearted and friends from all backgrounds– ALL are welcome in our House of Lovingkindness.

“Our Torah Scroll MST#1072 from Dolni Kounice that survived the Shoah is on permanent loan from the Memorial Scrolls Trust, London England. Learn more about story of the Czech scrolls at The Memorial Scrolls Trust, a U.K. non-profit organization working to link over 1000 Czech Torah scroll-holders around the world.”

Our beautiful Torah cover was lovingly created by artist Wanda Peretz in gratitude to Ted z’l and Hedy Orden z’l and family for their generosity to Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services. Ted and Hedy Orden were both Holocaust survivors.
