With a deep and compelling sense of purpose and passion, four hundred generous women gathered March 10, 2016 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills to honor boundlessly inspiring and devoted Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services supporters, Madeline Gussman and Nancy Epstein.

Vista’s 4th Annual Women of Excellence Awards luncheon featured KTLA
Entertainment Anchor Sam Rubin as emcee as well as a breathtaking performance by the beloved (The) Vista Players. The musical group, comprised of young talented Arts Enrichment students of all circumstance and ability, received a standing ovation from luncheon attendees, all of who understand the transformational healing impact of Vista’s comprehensive multi-faceted Arts program.

Westside parent Lisa Beale shared her family’s gratitude to Vista for providing her child a life changing and nurturing school environment in which he could thrive.

Thanks to the great generosity of presenters and attendees alike, this year’s Women Of Excellence luncheon was an overwhelming success, raising in excess of $400,000.IMG_1082-03.10.16-Chyna Photography

Madeline Gussman was honored with The Ruth Shuken Humanitarian Award, reflecting her many years of service and philanthropy. Tireless Vista advocate, Nancy Epstein was celebrated with The Visionary Award in honor of her ongoing dedication of time and resources.

The day was nourishing for all, mind, body and spirit, as the funds raised ensures yet another year of rich unique programming and purpose-driven work.

Vista’s leadership is grateful to each and every event attendee, recognizing that together, this community of Women of Excellence can and will continue to make the difference to the lives of the exceptional children Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services is so proud to support.
