Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services’ Adoption & Foster Care Program earns seal for implementing fully inclusive policies in working with LGBTQ+ families
Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services was awarded an All Children— All Families seal of recognition at the RaiseAChild.US Harvest Celebration at Mauro Café Fred Segal Melrose on October 1. ACAF trainer Rob Woronoff presented the seal to Louis Josephson, PhD, the CEO of Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, for implementing fully inclusive policies in working with LGBTQ+ families. The occasion also marks the new partnership between Vista del Mar, a California adoption agency based in Los Angeles, and RaiseAChild.US, a nonprofit that encourages the LGBTQ+ community to build families through fostering and adoption.
“It is an honor to be recognized for our commitment to the LGBTQ+ community by an organization of such caliber as the Human Rights Campaign as well as to be working in partnership with RaiseAChild,” shared Dr. Josephson.
